Middle Distance Runner – The Wrong Hole

Middle Distance Runner is an indie pop group hailing from the District of Columbia. The group was started in 1998 by Allan Chappelear, Erik Dean and Steve Kilroy. Over the next few years, members Jay Smith and Ian Glinka joined the group, thus completing their present day lineup of five. The band then went on to release their debut album “Plane in Flames” in 2006.

Sunglasses – Whiplash

8000 bam bam (Samuel Cooper) & Baby Seal (Brady Keehn) first started working together at Savannah College of Art and Design during the post production stage of Samuel’s senior thesis film, MILES. Their relationship was strictly dealing with dialogue and the mixing of original songs for the short film, in which Brady was the Post Sound Supervisor. Eventually having completed MILES, the two had worked so well together on the last project that starting a new one only made sense. Thus SUNGLASSES was born.

Rogue Wave – Good Morning

Good Morning is the first single off Rogue Wave’s fourth studio album. According to lead singer Zach Schwartz (a.k.a. Zach Rogue) we can expect a dance record. “Permalight is more about the physical music, about the visceral experience of hearing music and letting your body move to it.” I guess spending most of 2009 recovering from a freak neck injury makes you appreciate the little things like dancing. The video is from a live session performed at Relix offices In NYC. Permalight is out on March 3rd.
