The Hoof And The Heel – Fireworks
The Hoof and The Heel weaves the lush vocals of Harris Shper and Christine Hale in a dreamy duet with the inspired drumbeats of Farid Rener; a keen musicality for their own brand of synth driven folk-pop. Early 2010 introduced a new member, Al Mal, who fills out the band on bass. THATH is a mix of intelligent indie pop, sentimental melody and unpretentious joy. Sweet instrumentals provide a strong foundation for heartfelt lyrics. Forming just a day before their first show in Montreal, they headlined the show to a surprised crowd. Just a couple months later during a month long coast to coast US tour, they released their first EP – And All the Tigers.
