Maybe 2010 is turning itself around. I feel the latter part of the year has seen much better music than the first. Lately, I’ve been getting excited about music again. Older Brother is more than just a good song, it’s something that stays with you all day. Unfortunately, Pepper Rabbit fans will have to wait until October 26th for the full album, titled “Beauregard”, to be released.

Brooklyn based Twin Shadow aka George Lewis Jr. is a breath of fresh air. His debut album, Forget, produced by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear is available for $1 digital download. Well worth IMO, but try it before you buy it. The full steam is available below.

Here is the new track, “Out of Tune”, off of Real Estate’s soon to be released 7″ (October 12, 2010) on True Panther Sounds. It’s a nice end of summer song, getting ready for fall. The sound is exactly what you’d expect from them. Enjoy.

Finally a new song from DIOYY. I’ve been waiting two and a half years to hear something new from these guys. The bands first album, “You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into” could be one of my all time feel good fun albums. I like it so much I can completely overlook the fact that “We Are Rockstars” was used in the trailer for F&F4.

“We Are The Dead” is the first single off the upcoming album, Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You.
