Jake Troth – Material Things

Jake Troth has been passionate about music since he first found his mother’s guitar under her bed at nine years old. Throughout high school Jake played in short-lived bands, experimenting with different types of rock music but eventually finding a passion for the simple folk singer-songwriter style. After graduating Jake decided to take a year off before heading to college, so he headed out west to San Francisco.
While living in an artist-run gallery space he decided that music was what made him truly happy and he wanted to make it his career. After being accepted and given a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design, Jake developed his unique and honest sound while studying fashion and fashion accessories. Jake is now putting the final touches on his debut album “Davidson”, inspired by the journey from his home town to the top of the world.

Elisabeth Maurus (born 1982),known by her stage name Lissie, is an American folk rock artist. She released her debut EP, “Why You Runnin’”, in November 2009. Her debut album, Catching a Tiger, was released in June 2010. Lissie resides in Ojai, California. She wanted to live closer to Los Angeles, and found Ojai to be “close enough to L.A. without the craziness and congestion of L.A.”She is an avid fan of fantasy literature, citing His Dark Materials and the Harry Potter series as favorites.
