Bon Iver – Calgary
This is the first single off of Bon Iver’s self titled album due out in late June on Jagjaguwar. This is the groups follow up to their 2007 album Emma, Forever Ago and hopefully just as good. You can see Bon Iver on Jimmy Fallon next Monday, May 23rd and they have announced a bunch of tour dates for the summer. Some notable stops are two dates (8/1/ and 8/2) at the 9:30 Club in D.C., 8/8 at The Sound Academy in Toronto (which I have already got my tix for!) and finally 8/9 at The United Palace Theater in NYC.

Thurston Moore – Benediction (Video)
I’ve been digging on “Benediction” by Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth fame) for some time now so it’s nice to see the song get the video treatment, even if it is simply old war footage. The album “Demolished Thoughts” comes out May 24th.
