This band is from Buffalo and I didn’t even know it!

A great pop band from Oxford UK. They will be at SXSW in March of 2011

This is a great video for a number of reasons. The album “Kaputt” is out 1.25.

In listening to a little GvB blog radio today I heard this great song by Lia Ices off of her upcoming album Growing Unknown out January 25th, 2011 on Jagjaguwar. The song features Justin Vernon, a.k.a. Bon Iver. In my search for the song, I also came across some great solo Justin Vernon material from early last year that was extraordinary IMO and worthy of a year late post to Sparkups. From my understanding it was an limited release EP called Hazelton. Here are two of the tracks from it that are great. Also, you can download the entire EP here. Enjoy.
