The Joy Formidable – Whirring
Its been a while but I am back. This is from The Joy Formidable called Whirring. The Joy Formidable are a three-piece band from North Wales, currently located in London, England. Vocalist/guitarist Ritzy Bryan sounds like she could become the third member of Teabag and Sara someday….perhaps they could call her Roman Helmet. If you like this tune check out Cradle as well.

Phosphorescent – The Mermaid Parade
Here’s a beautifully sad song to drift away with.
“Our heart’s were on fire only two weeks ago, and our bodies were like live wires down on the beach in Mexico. Then I came back to this city and you stayed home in LA and our 2 years of marriage in two short weeks somehow just slipped away…”
The Mermaid Parade is off Phosphorescent’s 6th album, “Here’s to Taking it Easy” out now on Dead Oceans.
The Phoenix Foundation – Buffalo
This is a great song with an even better name. Buffalo is the first single from The Phoenix Foundation’s fourth album. Source: IGIF
Interpol – Lights
New song from Interpol entitled “Lights”. You can grab the free download from the bands website. Not sure if I care about this band anymore. It seems like they stopped making good music. Hopefully this new album proves me wrong. I hear they’re currently touring with U2. I guess they don’t need to play small clubs in Niagara Falls anymore.
Crystal Castles – Celestica
Celestica is the new single off Crystal Castles sophomore album.
